July 2021
Judge: Stacy Pendergrast

  • Dear Poet Friends,Unfortunately, the “McDougall Moment” contest yielded no winners this year. Being a teacher, I recognize this: When I don’t get the response or product I envisioned, it must be due to my lack of communication and clarity. Mea culpa. I will be revising the guidelines for this contest, and I hope to sponsor it again next year. By then, I hope to have written an article that will more clearly illuminate Jo’s style that has earned the description of a “McDougall Moment.”Sincerely,Stacy Pendergrast
